There are 6 Gaspanic bars in Tokyo. This bar is well known for the cheap drinks and Japanese girls who like foreigners or ‘gaijin’. They run 400 JPY drink specials from 6PM – 9:30PM everyday. Needless to say some people get completely shit-canned by the time the DJ comes on.
The rule in Gaspanic is everyone must have a drink in hand and be drinking or you have to leave. Really! There are signs everywhere. They also have quite a hip-hop crowd that turns up towards the latter part of the evening. This place isn’t bad to come for a cheap drink or two…but I wouldn’t suggest spending the entire night here.
Other clubs in Shibuya like Nutts or Harlem are much more towards the underground side of Tokyo and the girls are much better looking. Chances are if you go to these clubs you’ll bump into somebody famous.
