“Ari-T” of Blast Star rocks Tokyo’s reggae scene

If you’ve been to one of Tokyo’s many reggae nightclubs then chances are you’ve heard the sounds of Tokyo DJ Ari-T of the group “Blast Star”. Ari-T has been DJ-ing for the past 12 years making his way around the world to Jamaica, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and my hometown Miami, Florida where he lived for five years.

During his stay in the United States, Ari-T performed in various South Florida nightclubs earning respect and recognition in Miami’s hardcore reggae scene. He made guest appearances on popular underground radio shows including FM93.5 “Sounds Of Caribean” & FM101.1 “Real Deal Radio” before returning home to Tokyo.
