Here’s a short video clip taken of the East Japan Railway at Ikebukuro Station in northwest Tokyo just before rush hour. The trains normally get much more tightly packed but you can get an idea of how the system operates.
Ikebukuro Station is a train station located in the Ikebukuro district of Toshima, Tokyo, Japan. With 2.71 million passengers on an average daily in 2007, it is the second-busiest train station in the world after Shinjuku Station.




I was actually going to comment on the Jero post, but decided this one was better. Great music. I love JR East.
