I was talking with Ami James today on Skype and he showed me his sketch of Japanese apprentice and co-star of the Miami Ink Reality TV Show Yoji Harada. I took a quick screenshot and with Ami’s permission I’m posting it here. Looks just like Yoji, doesn’t it?
Ami and Yoji are coming to Japan next week and I’m excited to see my good friends from back home! Ami loves yakiniku so I’m sure we’re going to hit Shin Okubo for some authentic Korean Barbeque.

Me and my girl are big fans of Miami Ink and all the work of the artist there (esp. Chris and Ami). That sketch is pretty accurate. Cartoon Yoji has the right idea, wish I had a beer, but it’s 3:43p and I’m sick. (heh)

Ami claims to have Yoji’s sketch down from the side and the front. He said he was going to draw me too but I really don’t want to see my big nose sketched even bigger.
