Heirin-ji Temple

kouyou

Heirin-ji is located in Niiza, Saitama in a heavily wooded area. We took a drive to the temple for some fresh air and beautiful scenery just before the fall foliage and we were surprised to find only a few people there. I highly suggest taking the trip but I must warn you - during the time of the year, when the Japanese Maple, or Momiji, leaves are bright shades of red, orange and yellow, you will be jammed packed in a crowd of photographers.
