Must have DSLR monopod – Libec MP-66DV

I sold my Vinten Pro 10 DC tripod and wanted to replace it with a light, easy to use monopod. Nothing replaces the sturdiness of a tripod but a monopod gives me much more mobility.

I looked around and found a few that come highly recommended monopods... however after testing them out I wasn't overly impressed. I went to Yodobashi Camera in Shinjuku and picked up the Libec MP-66DV 4 Section Video Monopod with Quick Shoe (link to Amazon) and I was immediately sold.

None of the others had a quickshoe release like this one. The camera snaps on and off in a second allowing for quick run-and-gun action. It's light and sturdy. Everything you could ever want in a monopod.

For the price you can't beat it! Comes with a little carry case too.
$49.95 replaces my $1,200 tripod for the time being. Ahhh...
