Leave it up to the Japanese to take something wonderful, like the hotdog, and add a little twist making it the better than we could’ve imagined. Street vendor Japa Dog in downtown Vancouver, Canada has done just that!

Has it ever crossed your mind to eat a hotdog topped with bonito flakes, fried cabbage, okonomiyaki sauce and Japanese Mayo? How about an Edamame wiener? Does daikon oroshi and soy sauce on top of a dog sound appetizing?

Check out the reviews about Japa Dog on Yelp and you’ll see just how popular this little hotdog stand really is. If you’re in Vancouver then make sure you stop by to taste for yourself!
Have you had a Japa Dog?
I love this comment on YELP > “Walk your dogs down to Japadog and your tastebuds will be doggone happy.”
OMG! I love Japa-dog! teri-mayo yummy yummy to my tummy q~~p
Oh, this must be the newer one. I like the one across from the movie theater. It’s Ice Cube’s favorite spot apparently. Not that his taste in food matters.
Douche
Japadog is so popular that they are about to open a shop on Robson @ Seymour. The great thing about this location is that their neighbour is Beard Papa’s, the Japanese cream puff maker.
The guy who started it was a former ad salesman
