I went to see my friend Akilla at Tattoo Soul today. We have a couple more sessions to go until the sleeve is finished. Here’s a short clip taken with my iPhone – uploaded directly to Youtube.
Akilla is a famous tattoo artist – his work was featured in this months issue of ★TATTOO BURST Vol 53★ with MMA fighters from the Krazy Bee gym (link below JP only).
Oh my, definitely some hard core traditional tattooing going on here. Our friend [who, last time I looked, is still missing his little finger] had his full-body tattoo done the traditional way. He went twice a week every day for four years.
