On the southeast side of Shinjuku Gyoen there is a street vendor selling octopus dumplings called "takoyaki." I couldn't resist... so I quickly moved in for the kill.
While drinking a Sopporo this kind gentleman served me 8 dumplings for 500 JPY as posted on the sign. He also hooked me up with an extra 8 pcs. for free. Looking at his frosty beverage made me want a brew but he only sells beer on the weekends.
