Avian flu is feared at Kagoshima farm

Avian Flu JapanDamn! It looks like we have to stay away from the Yakitori joints for a little while until Japan’s latest case of the Avian Flu blows over.

Chickens at a poultry farm in Izumi, Kagoshima Prefecture, tested positive for bird flu in a preliminary examination, the prefecture said Tuesday, following outbreaks of a highly lethal strain of avian influenza in Miyazaki Prefecture.
